These terms apply to the Vytae iOS app and to this website. By using either, you agree to them.
What Vytae does
Vytae uses AI to rewrite material you supply — your CV and a job offer you choose — into a tailored CV, a cover letter, a compatibility score and interview questions. It reorders and rephrases what you have given it. It is a drafting tool, not a careers service, and it does not apply for jobs on your behalf.
Your content, and what you are responsible for
You keep all rights to the CV and other material you put into Vytae, and to everything it produces for you. You are responsible for what you send out: review every document before you submit it. Generated text can contain mistakes, and you — not us — are accountable for the accuracy of statements you make to an employer.
You agree not to use Vytae to:
- Misrepresent your qualifications, employment history or identity
- Process another person's personal data without their consent
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer or overload the service, or to circumvent its usage limits
- Break the law of the country you are in
AI output
The output is generated by a language model. It can be wrong, incomplete, or oddly phrased, and the same input will not always give the same result. The compatibility score is an estimate produced by a model reading two documents — it is not a prediction of whether you will be hired, and no employer sees it.
Credits, subscriptions and refunds
Vytae is paid. Plans are sold through the App Store and billed by Apple, with the current prices shown at the point of purchase. One credit covers one job offer: importing it and the documents generated from it. Editing what has already been generated costs nothing.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running. Because Apple is the merchant of record, refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, not from us.
Unused credits expire at the end of the period they belong to and do not carry over, except for the one-time Pro pack, whose allowance has no expiry.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Generation depends on a third-party AI provider, and an outage there affects Vytae. We may change or discontinue features; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, you can cancel.
Liability
Vytae is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including any job you did or did not get. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use Vytae after a change means you accept it.
